Redding Branch of Eternal Life International
ELI Redding is a branch of Eternal Life International, operated by Duane and Karen Smith. We have been actively involved with reaching the lost in third world countries for over 30 years.
The mission of ELI Redding is to respond to the physical and spiritual needs of the lost and build life giving and supportive relationships with believers in third world countries . We have established long term partnerships in the Philippines with Bonifar Abanel, working in Northern Mindanao and Leyte, and Vicente Barbarona in Western Mindanao. Our primary partner in India is Anil Kumar.
To accomplish our evangelistic vision, we have held annual healing outreach campaigns and planted churches. We have seen thousands receive Christ, receive healing, and get established in the 40-50 rural churches pioneered in the past 10 yrs. We support each church for one year after inception. Our work to assist the churches includes construction resources, annual leadership, believer, and marriage conferences, group wedding ceremonies, bible school training, etc.
We also work to create vocational opportunities to help overcome poverty and support the church plants. In India, those ventures currently include a retail outlet store operated by Lepers and an orphanage operated by homeless widows. In the Philippines we have provided resources for a crop farm and gold mine operation, operated primarily by church members needing work.
We invite believers of all ages to join us for our annual trips to these countries. The goal for our teams is to ignite a passion to love and care for the poor, mentor believers in signs & wonders ministry, and provide hand on involvement in international evangelism.
